Valencia Awards Music Competition is an online music competition that gives you the opportunity to showcase your talent to the world. Musicians from all over the world will be able to showcase their performances in a healthy climate of musical knowledge and learning.
Participants from all parts of the world, levels and ages are welcome and we hope that this competition will be a meeting point for all music lovers in all its possible expressions.
Our jury, teachers and music professionals, will evaluate the performances online and will give their verdict by awarding them their fair share of prizes.
If you love music in all its expressions, you are welcome to come and show us your talent!

Within each category, sections will be established by instrument and age group.

Soloist: 25 USD (until 7th April)
Duo, Trio…up to 7 performers: 30 USD (until 7th April)
Ensemble from 8 performers upwards: 35 USD (until 7th April)
Only unedited videos will be accepted. The video must clearly show the performer when playing. There can be no cuts or camera changes.
The video can be made for another competition as long as it meets the requirements for this competition.
The video must be on an easily accessible platform, preferably youtube, with the title of the piece to be performed, the name and the category in which you are participating. The length of the video cannot exceed the established rules.
A professional recording is not necessary, but the video must meet minimum quality requirements; poor quality videos will not be accepted.
The organisation reserves the right not to accept videos of poor quality.
Participants will choose a free repertoire, always respecting the minute limit established for each section.
It is not necessary to perform the repertoire from memory.
Complete works or single movements of works are accepted.
Performances may be solo or accompanied by piano in which the instrument is the main voice.
The age of chamber groups, orchestras, ensembles, bands…. will be determined by the average age of the participants.
Participation in the competition entitles the Valencia Awards Music Competition to use your name, image, screenshots and recording for the promotion of the competition and its future editions.
The results will be published 10 days after the closing date for receipt of entries, through the website and social networks.
Incomplete entries will result in disqualification, as well as non-payment of entry fees.
Registration fees are non-refundable.
The organisers reserve the right to modify any rule or category for the benefit of the competition, always respecting the rights of the contestants and giving prior notice.
The jury´s decision is final.
Participation implies full acceptance of these rules and regulations.
HOW TO REGISTER
Complete the registration form before 00:00 on the day following the registration deadline.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE VIDEO
1. You can use a phone, a tablet, a camera…
2. You can record it anywhere: at home, at the music school, at your usual rehearsal place…
3. Try to be as quiet as possible, without acoustic interference of any kind.
4. Once you are satisfied with your recording, upload it to a platform, preferably Youtube, including your name, age, repertoire and category in which you are competing.
The jury evaluates the skills of the participants during the competition in each competitive discipline and in each age category according to the 100-point evaluation system:
up to 69 points – Diploma of participation
70-79 points – 3rd prize
80-89 points – 2nd prize
90-99 points – 1st prize
100 points from all JURY MEMBERS – GRAND PRIZE WINNER
WINNER’S TROPHY TO THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER(S)
Duplication of prizes (two or more second prizes, two or more first prizes, etc.) is permitted. The jury may award the prizes and the title of Laureate (1st / 2nd / 3rd Degree) among several participants, nor award it to anyone in a particular competitive discipline. The jury has the right not to award the title of Grand Prix if it deems it appropriate.
IMPORTANT: All Diplomas Award Certificates for distance participation are issued and sent to participants in DIGITAL ELECTRONIC form only with the exception of the Grand Prize winner’s trophy.
Important conditions and obligations:
Once all payments of Participation Fees have been made, no refund will be given for any reason.
All materials (audio, video) created in the frames of online competition, the Organizers consider their property, have the right to use and distribute information at their discretion without paying fees to the participants.
The responsibility for settling copyright issues for the sound tracks / music used for performances rests with the participants of the competition. Please note that the music used must be allowed for free use in all countries of the world (or the participant must be transferred the rights to use it).
Applying to online COMPETITION, the participants automatically accept the GENERAL REGULATIONS and CONDITIONS.
